The Environmental Education Forum
This is the website for The Environmental Education Forum (EEF), an organisation that promotes a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of Environmental education in Northern Ireland. One of their downloads in "Wonderful Woodlands" (LEEF 4.2) which includes information on:
- how schools can get involved in the Woodland Schools Partnership;
- how programmes run by Tollymore Forest Park can support learning and teaching in The World Around Us
- a range of other curriculum links and activities

There is a forest within 10 miles of most schools in N. Ireland. Book a visit to one of the 113 forests where there will be a Forest Service Guide to help you experience a forest environment.

The Woodland Trust
This is the web site of The Woodland Trust. It features a range of interactive and downloadable resources. Nature Detectives equips children to identify plants and animals and enables them to record signs of seasonal change. This helps builds a UK-wide picture of how climate change is affecting our environment.
