Year 6 Training

In the autumn term of 2008 Year 5 and 6 pupils across Northern Ireland will be sitting the InCAS computer-based assessments. In preparation for this we will be running 42 events for 1500 year 6 teachers throughout May and June.

This training will take place in venues across all Board areas and will provide:

Information about what is involved in InCAS and the Annual Report;
Support for teachers in the administration of the assessments;
Guidance in the use of the results to inform learning and teaching;
Suggestions for how these outcomes may be shared with parents; and
Awareness of InCAS remediation strategies.
