Statutory Content
The statutory minimum content includes qualitative comments on:
- Communication (taking account of Language and Literacy);
- Using Mathematics (taking account of Mathematics and Numeracy);
- Using ICT;
- Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities;
- Focus for Development;
- The Arts;
- Personal Development and Mutual Understanding;
- Physical Development and Movement/Physical Education;
- The World around Us; and
- Interests and Strengths.
These headings are fixed and cannot be re-ordered. The Annual Pupil Profile Report must also contain the school name, pupil’s name, teacher’s name, class and attendance. Attendance must be entered as a percentage.
The flexible content includes qualitative comments on Religious Education and Optional Content. The wording Optional Content can be replaced to reflect the ethos of individual schools. If preferred, either or both of these boxes can be removed from the report if a school wishes.
Department of Education has not stipulated:
- Box sizes;
- Font style and size;
- Length of report; and
- Use of a school logo.
