Learning intentions

  • We are learning to focus on moving silently.
  • We are learning to move around the room individually and in small groups.

What to look for

  • Pupils concentrating on moving silently around the room
  • Pupils copying the teacher’s movements
  • Pupils using all the space available in the room in movement activities, in response to directions from the teacher

Learning activities

Encourage the pupils to walk, crawl or run silently around the room/hall.

Demonstrate a number of simple movements for them to copy. Have them move around the room individually and then in small groups, using all the space available.
