A. The fundamental objective of the Annual Report to parents is to make sure parents get the information they need about their child’s progress and achievements in school.
The Regulations propose common coverage of reporting so that no matter what school a child attends, every parent will receive the same breadth of information about how their child is doing.
This includes primary and preparatory schools, special schools, special units and Irish Medium schools and units.

Please note that schools should not include any InCAS outcomes in the Annual Report.
A. Over the last few years CCEA has produced comment banks in Communication, Using Mathematics, Using ICT and Other Skills (Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities) which were optional for use by schools. These were based on the draft Levels of Progression and as such were constantly under review. It has been decided that this year no such amended comment banks will be provided for use by schools.
