Key Element: Cultural Understanding
This theme aims to develop pupils' awareness of, and sensitivity towards, the values, beliefs, customs and traditions of other cultures. Pupils will examine and appreciate the similarities and differences between their own culture and that of other peoples. They will gain an understanding of the interdependence of cultures at a global level.
