Connecting the Learning: Thematic Units
The thematic units show how a number of subject strands can contribute to the teaching of the key elements of the revised curriculum. They support classroom teachers in:
- addressing the aim, objectives, statements of requirement and key elements of the revised curriculum
- making connections within and between different learning areas
- building thinking skills and personal capabilities and assessment for learning into teaching and learning activities
Connecting the Learning: Collaborative Unit
This document describes how a group of Arts specialists planned and ran a cross-curricular project. The document also contains a case study of how one school adapted this plan.
