STEM Futures provides an insight into the practical application of STEM in a number of NI companies.

It also provides enquiry based learning and teaching resources offering opportunities for exploring longer term, future opportunities as identified by Matrix, for example, Connected Health, Nanotechnology, Composite Materials, Safe and Secure Transport and Nutraceuticals.

The Northern Ireland (NI) science industry panel, referred to as MATRIX, have identified key areas of science, technology and innovation strengths where NI can successfully compete on a global scale.
